Hi everyone,
Looking forward to the long walk home next week. Over the years I have supported Wayside in various ways as I believe in and value the work they do for people living in crisis. They are a local charity and you can really see the effects of their efforts around our inner-city streets.
Never before have I taken on such a big walk or indeed a fundraising adventure like this! I'm looking at a solid 6hrs of walking non-stop! But it's nothing compared to what a person sleeping rough on our streets has to walk each week to find shelter or a place to sleep.
