This is my third year of joining this walk for this great cause. We lost our beautiful 21 year old son to heroin addiction in October 2019. Alistair was so much fun. He'd light up the room when he walked in, with his beautiful smile. He was adventurous, and very caring.
Alistair's spiral of addiction to heroin was relatively quick. He was supported and loved by family and friends but couldn’t break the cycle. I see Wayside provide that same compassion to others, which is why I walk each year, to keep his memory alive.
